Position: Registered Nurse Emergency Department
Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday rotation as needed
Department Stats: 40 ED rooms
~130 patient visits/day (~45,600/year)
Average Daily Census: 130
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 2 years of ED experience
Must have recent (within 8 months) experience in an ED seeing 125+ patients/day
Travel experience required – no first-time travelers
Triage experience required – hard stop
Certifications:
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
PALS (AHA)
NIHSS
Skills Required:
Triage, IV Starts, Phlebotomy
Isolation precautions, ventilated patients, CPAP/BiPAP
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Experience in combined Adult/Peds Emergency Department
Skills Preferred: Cerner EMR experience
