The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) plays a vital role in supporting our clients and clinical team, directly impacting the recovery and stability of individuals with complex mental health disorders. BHTs are essential in implementing treatment plans, providing emotional support, and ensuring a safe and structured environment. By working closely with clients and the clinical team, you help individuals develop coping skills, emotional regulation, and independence in their daily lives.

Responsibilities: - Support clients with complex mental health disorders in adhering to individualized treatment plans, daily routines, and program expectations.
- Participate in milieu activities, ensuring client safety, engagement, and emotional well-being.
- Assist in monitoring and documenting client behaviors, emotional responses, and progress, providing timely and accurate shift reports.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to support interventions, skill-building exercises, and therapeutic activities.
- Provide transportation and support to appointments, community activities, and therapeutic outings as needed.
- Maintain professional ethics, confidentiality, and boundaries in all interactions with clients and staff, following HIPAA and company policies.
- Model emotional regulation, appropriate interpersonal relationships, and healthy coping strategies.
- Demonstrate cultural competence and respect for diverse backgrounds, lifestyles, gender identities, and experiences.
- Attend weekly clinical, administrative, and training meetings as assigned.
- Ensure client and environmental safety by following housing and facility procedures and protocols.
Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED required
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience in mental health or behavioral health settings
- Ability to implement and enforce program rules, guidelines, and procedures
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Successfully complete drug screen and comprehensive background check
