We are seeking a motivated Civil or Environmental Engineer to join our team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career engineer (0–3 years) to begin building a long‑term professional engineering career focused on water resources and sustainable water/wastewater infrastructure.

You’ll be part of a collaborative project team dedicated to helping communities and industries solve complex infrastructure challenges. Our supportive, team‑oriented culture is designed to foster learning, mentorship, and steady professional growth.

• Apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to support project execution
• Work under the supervision of a Project Manager or Professional Engineer
• Assist with a variety of engineering tasks, including:
  • Field work and site inspections
  • Engineering reports and technical documentation
  • Permitting and agency coordination
  • Construction engineering support
  • Simple design calculations
• Coordinate with contractors during project delivery
• Review construction drawings and specifications
• Communicate with local, state, and federal agencies regarding required permits

• Water and wastewater infrastructure projects
• Stormwater and drainage systems
• Civil site development and grading
• Sustainable infrastructure solutions for municipalities and industry

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental / Ecological Engineering
• 0–3 years of civil engineering experience, including exposure to:
  • Water/Wastewater
  • Stormwater / Drainage
  • Transportation or Site Development
• Minimum GPA of 3.2 (verification via transcripts required)
• Proficiency with Civil 3D / AutoCAD Civil 3D and related civil design tools
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a team‑based environment

• Master’s degree
• FE / EI certification

• Flexible scheduling:
  • Standard hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Optional start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
  • Compressed schedule option: four 9‑hour days (Mon–Thu) and a 4‑hour Friday

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Wayne, IN.

The pay range for this position is $35.58 - $36.54/hr.
