Donor Database & Analytics Manager

BGCSF is seeking a Donor Database & Analytics Manager (DM) who will be responsible for administering My Club Hub, powered by the Salesforce Platform, which serves as the organization's donor database. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of donor data, manages reporting, supports financial reconciliation, and provides analysis aligned with the organization's strategic and financial objectives. The DM will also implement moves management and portfolio management processes in the CRM.

This position works closely with the Outcomes Measurement team, who oversee the member database, to ensure coordination across systems. In addition, the DM will provide general development department administrative support, back-up coverage for data entry and projects, and staff list / reporting support. This job requires a demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service with a proven ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision in a deadline-driven environment.

Reporting directly to the Sr. Dir. of Major Gifts & Donor Relations, the DM is a core member of the development team. The role requires regular collaboration with development staff, as well as close coordination with the Finance, Executive, and Outcomes Measurement teams.

Key Roles (Essential Job Responsibilities)

Database Management : 60%

• Manage overall donor data to ensure database integrity; detect, correct, and prevent inconsistencies or inaccuracies.
• Oversee gift processing and ensure accuracy of entry.
• Partner with the Finance Department to ensure proper coding, tracking, and reconciliation of all contributions.
• Maintain and monitor a variety of donor, fund, and campaign codes / accounts.
• Conduct and manage data entry needs for special events and campaigns.
• Track Board of Governors and Board of Trustees give / get commitments and ensure accuracy of reporting.
• Develop and maintain processes, procedures, and standard operating documentation for the development team.
• Collaborate with the Data and Impact team to ensure donor management and membership management systems work seamlessly across the My Club Hub (Salesforce) ecosystem.
• Provide back-up support for data entry and other database projects as needed.
• Lead implementation of moves management and portfolio management processes in Salesforce.
• Ability to embrace new software and processes and lead the team in understanding and adapting these systems.
• Collaborate across the organization to support the experiences of donors, volunteers, and BGCSF youth / families.
• Provide continued support and auditing of custom fields and objects to ensure a clear donor contact page layout in Salesforce.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and BGCSF needs. At BGCSF, our decisions are based on other factors and dependent on circumstances for each position. Depending on the need and requirement of the position, an individual could be hired at or near the entry-level, mid-level or top of the range for their role and compensation. As such, a reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $72,000-82,000 annually.
