[job_card.job_description]Employee Assistance Program 24 / 7 counseling services, legal assistance, and financial consultation for you and your household at no cost Comprehensive Training Learn and develop skills with our robust on-the-job training Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient care Prepare patients for examination and treatment Take patient histories and vital signs Perform lab and phlebotomy duties Provide information to patients to help them benefit from clinic services Maintain a positive and supportive environment for clients High school diploma or equivalent required Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or Licensed Practical Nurse in applicable state CPR certification preferred Phlebotomy training and previous lab experience preferred One year of experience in a physician office setting preferred Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance ADA Consideration - Sedentary work : Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and / or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and / or writing during work shift. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
