Deputy Project Manager

AECOM is seeking a Deputy Project Manager to be based in New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Atlanta, or Miami. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow your career through meaningful, hands-on experience and professional development. What You'll Do

As a Deputy Project Manager, you'll play a key role supporting project delivery, operations, and performance across multiple business lines. Your work will make an impact across Transportation, Water, Program & Project Management (PPM), Buildings + Places, Environment, and Energy.

• Partner with Project Managers to support a variety of projects and programs across the Metro New York region.
• Monitor project performance and understand how individual projects contribute to overall business outcomes.
• Prepare reports and presentations in Excel and PowerPoint, and contribute to project delivery.
• Apply standard engineering and project management techniques to develop technical skills and professional judgment.
• Prepare designs, calculations, drawings, and other project deliverables under the supervision of experienced professionals.
• Participate in interdisciplinary reviews and contribute to continuous improvement across teams.
• Develop and manage spreadsheets, databases, and analytical tools to support project and business operations.
• Collect data and prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts on key project and program financial metrics.
• Conduct research, perform analysis, and present recommendations based on findings.
• Coordinate with business lines and corporate teams to compile and analyze data for management reporting.
• Assist Project Managers with cost control, schedule tracking, and other key project management functions.

Additional Information

Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $75,000 to $82,000.
