Internal Medicine - Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology (Physician) - Locums in Washington
Dates: Nov 17, 2025 - Ongoing
Schedule Type: 1 week on / 3 weeks off rotation
Location: Washington Region (near Level 1 Trauma Center)
Position Details
We are seeking a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician with advanced training in Advanced Heart Failure or Critical Care Cardiology to provide ongoing locums coverage at a premier healthcare facility.
This role is a strictly Advanced Heart Failure Cardiology position - there is no transplant aspect involved. The incoming physician will collaborate with a dedicated team of three staff cardiologists to provide high-quality inpatient care.

Position Details

Schedule
- One week every four weeks (Monday 7 AM - Monday 7 AM)
- Inpatient coverage: 7 AM - 7 PM
- Night call: 7 PM - 7 AM
- Inpatient only
- Trauma Level 1 facility
- EMR: Epic
- Must be Board Certified
- WA license or IMLC eligible
- ACLS & BLS certifications required
- Advanced Heart Failure training or Critical Care Cardiology experience
- Long-term, stable locums assignment
- Work within a high-acuity cardiac program
- Supportive team environment with collaborative coverage model
