Fandi Mata is a vibrant, Mediterranean-inspired restaurant in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, known for its lively atmosphere, high-energy service, and large-format space with multiple bars and event areas. We focus on warm, genuine hospitality, great music, and a fun, social dining experience for our guests.

We’re looking for an experienced Host / Hostess to join our front-of-house team.

Responsibilities

– Greet and seat guests with a friendly, professional, and welcoming demeanor

– Manage reservations and waitlists using our seating system

– Coordinate closely with servers, bar, and management to ensure smooth guest flow

– Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting host stand and entrance area

– Provide clear, helpful communication to guests regarding wait times and seating options

Requirements

– Previous hosting experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting

(high-volume experience strongly preferred; comfortable with fast-paced service and high covers)

– Weekend availability (Friday–Sunday) required

– Strong communication and customer-service skills

– Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure

– Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
