Responsibilities :

• Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polishing, and periodontal maintenance.
• Provide laser periodontal therapy and adjunctive treatments (must be laser certified).
• Take and interpret digital dental radiographs.
• Conduct oral health assessments and charting, including periodontal evaluations.
• Administer local anesthetic (where permitted by state law).
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Collaborate with dentists and the dental team to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate, detailed clinical notes in Dentrix.
• Comply with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols.
