The Area Merchandising Manager at Love's Travel Stops is a critical element to the success of our long-term business strategy. The Area Merchandising Manager will help run our business by driving compliance of merchandising processes and procedures, sales coaching, and managing vendor relations.
Job Functions :
- Communicate clear expectations to achieve all brand, performance, and behavior standards.
- Conduct regular quarterly visits and weekly conference calls for each location.
- Collaborate with District Manager(s) to effectively manage employee turnover and retention. Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, assist in development and succession planning of team members.
- Identify areas of opportunity on monthly, weekly, and daily reports and implement plans to correct any issues and improve performance.
- Recognize and resolve customer feedback by determining optimal solutions in a timely manner.
- Responsible for protecting company assets with various audit processes and ensure that all cash handling and Love's policies and procedures are being followed by all employees.
