The Detail Porter Lead is responsible for overseeing the cleaning, detailing, and preparation of RVs to ensure they meet company standards for presentation, delivery, and customer satisfaction. This role leads the detail and porter team, assigns daily tasks, maintains workflow efficiency, and ensures all units—new, used, or serviced—are cleaned, staged, and ready on time. The Detail Porter Lead also manages supplies, equipment, and quality control to maintain a professional and organized environment. Pay potential : $18-22 per hour
Key Objectives :
- Ensure all RVs are cleaned, detailed, and presented at the highest standard after customer delivery or display
- Assign and oversee porter and detail tasks to maintain efficient, timely operations
- Support, train, and guide the porter / detail team to maintain consistent performance and safety
Responsibilities :
Lead and coordinate daily activities of detailers and porters, including task assignments and schedulingInspect incoming, outgoing, and serviced RVs to ensure they meet company cleanliness and presentation standardsPerform hands-on cleaning, detailing, washing, and prepping of RV interiors and exteriors when neededOversee staging, movement, and organization of units on the lot for display, delivery, or service flowMaintain inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, tools, and detailing equipmentTrain team members on proper cleaning techniques, safe chemical handling, and equipment useEnsure work areas, wash bays, and storage spaces remain clean, organized, and hazard-freeAssist with customer deliveries by ensuring units are properly prepped and presentableHelp enforce company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards within the teamWhat you’ll bring :
Experience in detailing, lot porter work, or vehicle preparation; RV or automotive experience preferredLeadership or team lead experience with the ability to motivate and guide others.Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanshipAbility to operate RVs, tow vehicles, and handle equipment safelyGood communication and organizational skills.Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, climbing ladders)Ability to pass a background and drug testDemonstrate alignment with the Company’s vision, mission, and core values in all interactionsExpected Results :
