Production Planning Manager

The production planning manager develops and manages production schedules, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of products within budget. This role involves coordinating across departments, managing inventory, and analyzing production data to ensure deadlines are met. Key responsibilities also include monitoring production progress, supporting the production team, and reporting on production status to the senior management team.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Partners with production and engineering to develop, execute, and monitor Material Requirement Planning (MRP) buy / build plan to meet customers' delivery requirements while effectively utilizing resources
• Liaison with shop resources, customers, supply chain personnel, quality assurance, production, engineering, and production-planning personnel and company leadership to meet production and quality requirements
• Interface with various production departments and shop personnel to resolve production and / or quality issues to ensure quality product is delivered on schedule
• Understand and assist production and engineering in maintaining and meeting budget requirements on assigned projects
• Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, or quality control measures
• Compile information, such as production rates and progress, materials inventories, materials used, or customer information, so that status reports can be completed
• Other duties as required
• Leads team in daily workflow
• Run required reports from SAP
• Coordinates with various departments to ensure routings / BOM's are correct
