Leasing Community Intern
As a Leasing Community Intern, you must have the ability to deliver high quality customer service and dedication to our residents. Leasing Community Interns (LCIs) must possess the skills to cooperate and collaborate as a team. The Leasing Community Intern also strives for 100% occupancy through retention of existing residents, leasing current availability and pre-leasing of future availability.
Responsibilities include : being an ambassador for customer service, performing administrative front desk tasks, participating in Cardinal Way of Leasing training, utilizing the Cardinal Way of Leasing by warmly greeting prospective clients, answering leasing calls, determining needs and preferences, presenting the community, closing the sale, following up, completing all lease applications, maintaining accurate lease documentation, maintaining cleanliness of the tour path, demonstrating a positive and professional attitude, participating in community events, assisting with community projects, participating in Cardinal U training, and being on-call for lock-outs and nightly rounds.
Qualifications include : a high school diploma, enrollment in a degree program, maintaining a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA, being a current or future leaseholder, living on a designated community floor, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, having a valid driver's license, and availability to work evenings and weekends.
Candidates with the following career experience are preferred : assistant, administrative assistant, receptionist, leasing consultant, real estate assistant, and leasing.
Review period : Community Interns will be required to re-apply annually. Work environment includes both inside and outside of apartment buildings, frequent exposure to outside elements, and physical demands such as standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 40 lbs. Rare local travel may be required.
