Role Purpose
Corning Optical Communications is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic team. The SDR will play a critical role in identifying, qualifying, and driving new business opportunities that contribute to pipeline growth and revenue. Daily operations of an SDR are identifying and qualifying valuable contacts and project information, inbound and outbound prospecting, outreach to marketing qualified leads, handling objections and securing introduction meetings for territory sales engineers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as your assigned field sales teams, marketing, market development, product line management, customer operations to uncover opportunities, support sales efforts, and enhance customer engagement. This role offers a unique career path into territory Sales, Marketing and / or other customer-facing roles within Corning Optical Communications.

Education / Skills Required
Bachelor's degree. Experience working cross functionally across teams. Experience in sales or customer support.

This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $60,410.00 - $83,065.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
