Wage range : $16.00 per hour start, more with experience. Schedule for FT can be 7A-7P 3 to 4 shifts per week, or 7A-3P 4 to 4 shifts per week. PT is 4P-8P 3-5 shifts per week. PT is a great student or 2nd job.

Your contributions are :

Physical and Sensory Requirements :

Requires mobility to stand and walk extensively during meal preparation and service. Lifting, carrying trays and boxes, up to 25lbs. Push / Pull Food Hot Boxes up to 50lbs. Bend, stoop for access to carts, food, trays, and other kitchen equipment. Manual dexterity for the use of kitchen utensils and tools. Visuals for reading menus, labels, and directions. Hearing to respond to verbal communications. Taste and Smell to assess food quality, freshness, and adherence to dietary requirements. Exposure to hot and cold temperatures.

Ensuring that diet aides meet these physical and sensory requirements is crucial to their ability to contribute effectively to the well-being of senior residents in a senior living community.
