Pharmacist

Summary:

• The fundamental purpose of the pharmacist position is to ensure the safe, effective, and appropriate provision and use of medications for the patient.

Requirements:

• Current/valid Pharmacist license issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy.
• 1 to 2 years of acute care hospital pharmacy staffing.
• Knowledge of current rules and regulations governing the practice of pharmacy.
• Possesses knowledge and the necessary skills for the preparation of sterile and parenteral products.
• Able to effectively read, write and communicate in English
• Computer skills, especially experience with hospital and personal computer systems.
• Variable work hours, including weekends and/or evening shifts, may be required.
