Your Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Process Engineering Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in identifying, developing, and executing process improvement projects and initiatives that enhance our operational efficiency and product quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process development, a deep understanding of production technologies, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for managing the process development laboratory and ensuring compliance with industry standards, while also mentoring junior staff and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and execute process improvement projects and initiatives, including methods, tools, roadmap systems, and deployment.
• Manage the setup and operation of the process development laboratory.
• Provide subject matter expertise for production processes, assimilating and utilizing new technologies quickly while offering guidance, training, and direction on technical items.
• Design and lead the selection of process trains and process flows.
• Design and execute experiments to enhance process / product understanding and manufacture GMP batches at various scales.
• Create, manage, and control systems and procedures, including batch records, change controls, and standard operating procedures, with a strong focus on lean manufacturing, process efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Lead process development activities focused on developing well-understood, science-driven products and processes at all scales, ensuring robust and repeatable control.
• Choose suitable parameters for the production of prototypes and finished products to guarantee consistent product quality and reproducibility.
• Manage a systematic approach to process development and technology transfer activities to ensure consistency and quality in end processes.
• Prepare, review, and approve protocols, reports, and batch records.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, cGMP, safety and environmental legislation, and company policy in day-to-day activities.
• Present technical data to cross-functional teams and senior management, effectively communicating critical process issues and solutions.
• Develop action plans and research planning on an annual basis, as well as a longer-term 35-year horizon.
• Serve as the primary customer liaison for customer complaints and collaborative efforts.
• Manage, train, and mentor junior process development staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Range for this position : $137,700 - $222,200. The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
