The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for partnering with the HR / ER team to develop integrated solutions with the goal of proactively communicating any HR related needs. A successful Human Resources Administrator formulates partnerships across all HR functions to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR procedures and can manage various administrative tasks in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the HR Team on Employee Relations matters
- Responsible for responding to Unemployment Claims for the entire Company in a timely and effective manner & attend UI Hearings in partnership with HR / ER team
- Manage the Job Abandonment process which includes but is not limited to, ensuring PAR's are completed correctly, letters are sent, and communication is made with manager confirming no contact has been received from employee
- Generate and distribute reports upon request
- Ensure compliance with record retention standards and best practices
- Make recommendations to streamline and improvement processes within HR
- Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
- Participate in HR projects
- Complete all Company pre-employment background check discrepancy interviews
- Responsible for completing FLSA testing on job descriptions
- Accountable for ensuring the Termination Process is completed for all employee in the SSC Branches; removing any access to Company systems / property
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for HR process as needed
- Apply adjustments to the Company Organizational Chart as needed and supply a copy of the Org Chart to the head of HR on a monthly basis to be distributed to the Executive team
- Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.
- Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.
- Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.
- Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management.
