Position Summary

The Pharmacy Coordinator for Controlled Substances & Sterile Products is responsible for the oversight, compliance, and operations of the hospital's controlled substance management program and sterile product preparation services. This role ensures safe, accurate, and compliant handling of controlled medications and high-quality sterile compounding in accordance with state and federal laws, USP standards, accreditation requirements, and institutional policies. The coordinator serves as a clinical and operational expert, leading process improvement initiatives and supporting pharmacy staff through education, training, and performance oversight.
