Sewing Class Instructor

This education & sales position pays a minimum total wage of $18- $22 per hour for the first 90 days. After the first 90 days, class instructor associates earn $18-$30 per hour, calculated as their hourly rate plus sales commissions . A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CLASS INSTRUCTOR

As a Class Instructor, you are the education & inspiration hub of the store location. With your positive attitude and enthusiasm, you teach sewing, quilting, & embroidery classes to our customers so they can get the most out of their sewing products. You assist fellow team members with their sewing education. Whatever our customers need, you are always happy to help. You use your problem-solving skills to help them with projects and inspire them to grow in their sewing, quilting, embroidery, & crafting passions. You love interacting with people every day and seeing your hard work reflected in your paycheck!

Ideal candidates will have a verifiable track record of presenting new concepts and ideas to others, as well as customer service performance. Knowledge and enthusiasm around sewing, quilting, embroidery & crafting are required.

Responsibilities :

• Provide exceptional customer service and instruction day in & day out.
• Consistently educate customers on all aspects of sewing & crafting.
• Assist in the development of class content and offerings.
• Maintain the Store Classroom area to create an inviting and encouraging

environment.

Qualifications :

We offer our Class Instructors an hourly wage plus commission on in-class sales.

Base hourly rate for Class Instructors starts at $18-$22 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Type : Full-Time

Pay : $18.00 - $22.00 per hour plus commission on items sold during class
