Civil Project Engineer

We're working with an exceptional Engineering firm in the OC/LA market that has strong roots. Our ideal candidate will be a hungry, motivated design engineer who has an understanding of the development process from due diligence, and design through entitlements, permitting, and construction. They should have experience with AutoCAD and be able to utilize strong design skills in order to create visual aids. EIT or PE is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with project managers to establish project timelines and designs
• Develop diagrams and visual aids and prepare design specifications
• Understand the development process
• Grading plans, hydraulics, hydrology, water, storm drain, and sewer design projects
• Assist with construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, changes, etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• EIT or PE
• 3-7years of civil engineering experience related to site design, land development and land use permitting
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D/LDD
