Paraprofessional Teacher Aide

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional / Teacher Aide to support classroom teachers and help provide a positive inclusive learning environment for students. This role involves both in-person support in the classroom and opportunities for remote / virtual assistance where applicable such as tutoring lesson prep and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

Assist teachers in classroom management and instructional support

Work with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning

Support students with special needs or learning challenges

Monitor student progress and report observations to teachers

Prepare materials and support administrative tasks as needed

Participate in virtual or hybrid teaching activities if required

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred

Experience working with children in educational or care settings

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Patience empathy and flexibility in supporting diverse learners

Basic computer skills for virtual / remote tasks
