[job_card.job_description]Work night shifts Saturday, Sunday, Monday from 6 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AM 10 weeks contract only beginning after 6 / 21 / 25 Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs Must be dependable, accountable and cooperative Perform wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative Set up equipment and position patients for imaging procedures Verify proper clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history Follow established procedures for contrast media administration Review CT / radiographic images for clinically acceptable results Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment Demonstrate competence in age-appropriate procedures and techniques Maintain venipuncture competency and sterile technique Adjust technique to provide lowest possible radiation dose while maintaining image quality Clean, disinfect and maintain equipment according to infection control policies Complete mandatory departmental and hospital-wide education Take call when necessary Required certifications : ARRT Radiography, ARRT Computed Tomography, Basic Life Support (BLS) Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required Less than 1 year experience in CT preferred Must exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to function independently under pressure in team environment Must be detail oriented with ability to multitask effectively Referral bonus
