The Opportunity

The Accounting Manager will play a key role in the financial operations of AS-Modular's core accounting functions, ensuring compliance and accuracy, and contributing to strategic financial management. This position requires a hands-on leader who enjoys problem-solving, mentoring others, and improving systems and processes within a dynamic, team-oriented environment. This is a newly created position due to organic business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and daily cash management, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.
• Conduct general ledger reviews, account reconciliations, and bank reconciliations to maintain accurate and complete financial records.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP and maintain strong accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and executive leadership.
• Manage cost reviews and work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, providing insights into project and operational performance.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision to a small accounting team (2-3 direct reports across AP, AR, and Purchasing).
• Collaborate closely with project managers to align financial data with project performance and forecasting.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, streamline reporting tools, and enhance efficiency across accounting operations.
• Serve as a hands-on team player : a problem-solver who's comfortable wearing many hats in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
