Club General Manager

Overview

The General Manager

serves as the chief operational and strategic leader of the Club, responsible for overseeing all aspects of its facilities, programs, and member services while ensuring alignment with the ownership’s vision, mission, and standards. This role carries accountability for delivering exceptional member satisfaction, driving membership sales and retention, achieving financial performance, and ensuring sustainable long-term growth. In addition, the General Manager acts as a visible ambassador for the Club, strengthening its reputation and fostering meaningful connections within the community.

The General Manager will provide leadership across all areas of the Club including racquet sports (tennis and pickleball), fitness, aquatics, kids programming, events, and other social activities. The individual in this role is responsible for cultivating a world-class member and guest experience, maintaining operational excellence, and fostering a culture of service, innovation, and continuous improvement. This position requires a dynamic and hands-on leader who inspires and motivates staff, cultivates strong relationships with members and partners, and consistently delivers measurable results.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of Club facilities, programs, and member services with accountability to the ownership’s vision and standards.

Provide leadership across racquet sports (tennis and pickleball), fitness, aquatics, kids programming, events, and other social activities.

Cultivate a world-class member and guest experience, maintain operational excellence, and foster a culture of service, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Inspire and motivate staff, build strong relationships with members and partners, and deliver measurable results.

Position Requirements

Demonstrates success in leading private club, hospitality, or resort operations.

Comprehensive knowledge of club environments, including racquet sports, aquatics, fitness, and lifestyle programming.

Proven ability to deliver exceptional member and guest experiences in a high-touch, luxury setting.

Strategic thinker with the ability to balance short-term execution with long-term vision and planning.

Strong financial acumen with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.

Experience developing and executing membership growth and retention strategies.

Highly organized, with the ability to oversee multiple departments and manage competing priorities.

Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.

In-depth knowledge of compliance, safety standards, and risk management practices.

Inspiring leader with the ability to build, develop, and influence high-performing teams and foster a positive workplace culture.

Skilled collaborator, able to work effectively with vendors, community partners, and hotel leadership.

Compensation

Salary Range : $200,000.00 - $220,000.00 Annually
