About the Position
AlliedTravelCareers is working with MEDSCoders to find a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Ellicott City, Maryland, 21042!
Assist the Physical Therapist in executing patient treatment plans
Provide therapeutic exercises , gait training, balance training, and functional mobility assistance
Deliver manual therapy techniques as directed
Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatment
Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and home care plans
Communicate effectively with the PT and interdisciplinary team
Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe treatment environment
Follow facility, state, and federal guidelines for patient care and documentation
Participate in team meetings regarding patient progress and goals

Requirements
Active PTA License in the state of practice
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
CPR / BLS certification
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to assist patients with varying physical abilities
