Annashae is seeking a qualified psychiatrist to work in a high-security inpatient mental health facility in Northern Illinois, focusing on medication management and legal responsibilities. The psychiatrist will regularly meet with patients to discuss treatment plans and is expected to document medication adjustments and provide court testimony as required. Ideal candidates should hold the appropriate medical licenses and experience in forensic psychiatry or corrections.

Annashae is seeking a Full or Part-time Psychiatrist for a high-security inpatient mental health facility in Northern Illinois. Responsibilities will include documentation of reasons for medication changes, review of seclusion and restraints at least twice a month, and testifying in court regarding involuntary commitment, fitness to proceed, and other issues (as required).

Additional Duties include, but are not limited to :

• Meet at least monthly with patients to review their medication, explain reasons for the choice of medications and other issues (as required)
• Maintain awareness of the Department and Facility rules, policies and procedures as required
• Participate in hospital s peer review program
