Security Officer - Logistics Screening Station

As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while supporting a secure environment for people and property. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to promote a welcoming atmosphere, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $21.89 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Tue 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Fri 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 30 PM

What Youll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within logistics and distribution locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order and security-related standards.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support site protocols.
  • Screen individuals, vehicles, and / or packages entering or exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain the integrity of the distribution process.
  • Document and report any unusual observations, incidents, or security-related breaches according to site protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to communicate security-related concerns and updates as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
