[job_card.job_description]Investigate, document and answer all unemployment claims Determine and implement action on all EEOC claims Provide guidance and recommendations to employees regarding work related problems and issues, Provide Management guidance and training to Executive staff Develop, prepare, review and revise the Association Handbook. Keep job descriptions updated. Verify all relevant vendor invoices (Health, Dental, Advertising , Drug Testing, Workers’ Comp, etc.), Process all 401k changes (payouts, loans, payroll deductions and plan amendments) Prepare for 5500 and assist with the 401k audit ACA reporting for Medical benefits Prepare the budget for Human Resources and Safety Insure the annual review process and salary adjustments are processed in a timely manner. Maintain and develop performance evaluation standards Supervise Human Resource Employee(s) Attend and participate in monthly Director and Manager’s meetings Attend Board meetings Administer the Association’s Safety Program and ensure OSHA compliance Respect and preserve employee confidentiality Notify the Board of Directors and / or the Executive Director on all major incidents, problems and key Advanced knowledge of application of Federal and Nevada State employment law and how to apply them. Knowledge and application od OSHA regulations Computer skills Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to organize work and set priorities Ability to exercise a high level of diplomacy, tact and judgement Working knowledge of accounting principles and budgeting Work autonomously, within the limits of the job scope 7 Years’ experience in Human Resources Flexible 40 hour work week or more as required Valid Driver’s License Able to give and follow oral and written instruction

Summary :
Responsible for the successful management of the Human Resource department and ensuring both the Association and the employees are fairly represented.
Position Duties :
- Notify the Board of Directors and / or the Executive Director on all noncompliance issues.
- Insure the Association is in compliance with all Federal and State employment laws and regulations.
- Manage all employee benefits to include health, dental, life, disability, workers’ compensation and
supplemental insurances and renewals.

Minimum Qualifications / Requirements :
Physical Demands : Walking, sitting, bending or standing for prolonged periods. Be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Sufficient strength and stamina to ensure a productive work environment within an office / meeting room and travel from site to site.
Work Environment : Typical of an office / meeting environment and commuting from site to site including
exposure to hot and cold temperatures and light to moderate noise levels. Requires performing job functions using all safety precautions and applying all SCSCAI policies and procedures.
