Management Accountant

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Management Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and international holding companies.

This role will focus on transaction processing, month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting for group-level entities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general ledger accounting, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with cross-border support.

Core Accounting & Month-End Close

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records for several holding companies.
  • Prepare and post all journal entries including accruals, prepayments, reclasses, and payroll allocations.
  • Ensure timely completion of monthly bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Coordinate and process supplier payments, treasury movements, and intercompany settlements as required.
  • Prepare and submit monthly trial balances and reporting packs for consolidation.

Expense & Transactional Support

  • Process and review employee expense claims and credit card reports, ensuring adherence to company policy.
  • Maintain appropriate support and documentation for all transactions.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports to support the Group Financial Controller and Head Office leadership.
  • Assist with year-end statutory close and the preparation of supporting audit schedules.

    • Compliance & Control

  • Support VAT and tax filings where applicable, in coordination with the Group Tax team.
  • Maintain up-to-date SOPs and internal documentation for the processes under your remit.
  • Assist in implementing best practices and process improvements in collaboration with Group Finance.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors on transactional and control queries.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 35 years of experience in general ledger accounting, bookkeeping, or management accounting, preferably within a multinational or shared services environment.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; comfortable working with journal templates, reconciliations, and structured workbooks.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • High attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet monthly reporting deadlines.
  • Clear and professional communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

    • Work Arrangement

  • 100% Remote / Work From Home during first Phase; will indefinitely transition to hybrid or onsite work when business needs arise
  • Work Days : Monday to Friday
  • Shift Schedule : 2pm to 11pm PH Manila time or 3pm to 12am PH Manila time
