Psychiatry Locums Physician in Texas - No Call or Weekends

Corrections-based Psychiatry assignment near Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) with flexible hours and long-term potential.

No call, no weekends; full-time weekdays only
Flexible daily start times; 4x10s possible
Weekly pay with long-term assignment potential
All-male adult patient population
Open to IMLC Psychiatrists

Practice Setting

Brand-new correctional facility (opens Sept 2025)

Mix of inpatient and outpatient care

Supported by psychiatric mid-levels

Security-cleared clinical environment

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 40 hours / week

Shift flexibility : 6 : 30a-3p or 9 : 30a-6p

Only considering full-time candidates

Cases and Procedures

Psych, physical, and neurological exams

Involvement in due process for admissions / medication

Forensic experience helpful but not required

Requirements

Board Certified or Eligible (within 5 years) in Psychiatry

Active Texas license or IMLC LOQ

DEA and BLS required

Travel Accommodations

Near Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW)

All-inclusive rate; travel costs not separately reimbursed
