Production Artist

Join our client's dynamic team as a Production Artist, where your creativity and precision will drive the success of high-volume direct mail campaigns. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the internal marketing department to craft, refine, and release impactful direct mail projects each month. Under the guidance of the Director of Creative Services, you will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless and timely project execution.

This is an onsite role based in Norwalk, CT.

Production Artist Responsibilities :

Partner with internal teams, including Print Production and Campaign Management, to deliver established design projects within tight timelines.

Create, review, edit, and proof a substantial volume of partner collateral, ensuring exceptional accuracy and adherence to brand standards.

Swiftly respond to high-priority requests while upholding production and design quality.

Support fellow designers to meet critical deadlines.

Prepare InDesign files for both digital and offset printing.

Utilize tools such as Asana, Workfront, and email for efficient project distribution.

Production Artist Qualifications :

2-4 years of experience with advanced Adobe InDesign skills, capable of managing up to 20 layers (a skills test will be conducted).

Comprehensive understanding of the printing process and expertise in lasering for direct mail components.

Proficiency in creating and proofing InDesign files using the layers palette.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment, maintaining high accuracy.

Exceptional organizational skills with a proven track record of managing multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines.
