[job_card.job_description]High school diploma GED or combination of education and relevant work experience preferred. Valid drivers license preferred. Previous housekeeping in a hospital setting preferred. Sheetrock repairs basic painting and some basic plumbing repairs. Perform routine cleaning tasks of patient rooms offices and public areas while ensuring a safe and risk preventative environment within OSHA Ensure that adequate linens are kept in the hospital. Report any situations that may affect health and well-being of patients or employees. Assure that supply closets are kept clean and orderly. Responsible for disposal of trash waste and other disposable materials in accordance with OSHA. Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor. Submit any patient personal belongings left behind to nursing supervisor. Follows P&Ps for terminal cleaning of a room. Follows instructions in use of germicidal solutions when cleaning.

How youll contribute
This position is responsible for maintaining a clean sanitary and welcoming environment for patients staff and guests. Key duties include general cleaning tasks supply management and ensuring safety standards are met in coordination with plant operations.
- Sheetrock repairs basic painting and some basic plumbing repairs.
- Perform dusting vacuuming sweeping mopping sanitizing and trash removal
- Replenish toiletry and linen supplies consistently
- Inventory and order cleaning supplies and equipment
- Work with the plant operations team to maintain a safe risk-free environment
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and hospital standards
