The Virginia Beach SPCA (VBSPCA) Low-Cost Veterinary Clinic is looking for an experienced licensed veterinary technician to join our dedicated team of veterinary professionals. The VBSPCA is a full-service clinic that focuses on high-volume spay / neuter, dental procedures, specialty surgeries, and routine veterinary care.

This position will primarily be a surgical technician scheduled for surgeries, dental procedures, and on our mobile spay / neuter vehicle, the Neuter Scooter, but may also be scheduled for clinical appointments as needed.

Applicants must meet the following requirements :

  • 1 year of LVT licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • 1 year of surgical and anesthesia experience

    • The VBSPCA Low-Cost Veterinary Clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, Saturday from 8am to 3pm, and closed on Sundays.

    Full-Time positions are 32-40 hours a week.

    Pay Rate : $25 - $29 an hour based on experience and skill
