Import Coordinator
Coordinate and monitor all stages of the import process, including documentation, shipment tracking, and delivery scheduling. Prepare and review import documents such as ISFs, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations. Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies. Resolve discrepancies or delays by collaborating with internal departments and external partners. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all import transactions. Assist with tariff classification, duty calculation, and payment of customs fees. Monitor and report on shipment status and proactively address potential issues. Support audit activities and provide documentation as needed. Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for working with internal teams and external partners. Knowledge of import regulations, customs processes, and international shipping. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Proficient in analytical problem-solving and effective multitasking. Strong analytical and documentation skills. Adaptability and willingness to learn new regulations and procedures. Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in import / export operations, logistics, or supply chain management is desirable. Familiarity with customs documentation and international trade regulations. Certification in international trade or logistics is a plus.
