Key Responsibilities

Perform accurate imaging exams as ordered by physicians or providers

Administer EKGs and present results to physicians or providers

Apply critical thinking skills and respond effectively to emergent situations

Maintain daily records and ensure the department remains organized

Protect the confidentiality of patient medical records

Utilize imaging and EMR computer systems correctly

Perform quality control testing on equipment and processes

Interact professionally with providers, coworkers, patients, and families

Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational goals

Qualifications

Required

High school diploma or GED

1 or more years of experience in radiology

Any of the following valid licenses or certifications :

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)

Any of the following valid licenses or certifications :

American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
