What You’ll Actually Do

This isn’t sitting behind a desk all day. As a Deputy Sheriff, you’ll rotate through different assignments so your job stays

interesting, challenging, and rewarding .

Keep people safe inside the jail and courts

Process and classify inmates

Maintain order in courtrooms as a bailiff

Transport inmates securely

Use tech systems, radios, cameras, and databases

Respond to emergencies and support your team

Take part in community programs and outreach
