DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION
The development coordinator will be responsible for developing new donors and partners by executing workflows in the CRM, developing partners and sponsors for fundraising, and events, create and implementing a community engagement plan while owning the local portion of the strategic development plan for Indianapolis and the State of Indiana.
Job Duties include but are not limited to :
CRM SYSTEM
- Management contacts in the CRM.
- Management and design deal alerts in the CRM.
- Management and design workflows in the CRM.
- Work with the CMO to execute a monthly, quarterly, and annual communication and message strategy.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Develop a Community Engagement Plan to increase monthly church partnerships to reach fundraising goals.Development a Community Engagement Plan increases business partners to hit fundraising goals.Network with like-minded non-profits, Community Centers, and other community-based organizations, including human service businesses and nonprofit organizations.Hold meetings, lunch and learns, and tours with churches, businesses, and other organizations / individuals.Communicate outreach schedules and opportunities with partners, outreach sites, and like-minded nonprofit organizations.Develop and execute a Community Engagement Plan for referrals for all medical, nonmedical, state, and other human service organizations.Obtain and design case statements and case studies to be shared with donors and partners.SOCIAL MEDIA
Work with the CMO to execute the social media marketing plan on all social medial platforms.Run and manage Community Management in social media comment sections.Ensure the Dream Center has a high star rating on Google and other platforms.FUNDRAISING AND EVENTS
Design and own the logistics of all fundraising events.Design event checklists, message plans, and collateral items for each fundraising event.Chair the fundraising and event committee and recruit and educate volunteers to facilitate all events.Manage all on-campus events (fundraising, meetings, volunteer events, tours).Ensure collateral is up-to-date and brand approved.Ensure that giving platforms are working and are user-friendly.Ensure that every fundraising event hits the desired attendance and giving totals.Ensure that every fundraising experience matches the Dream Center brand and follows the communication plan.FIRST IMPRESSIONS
Complete a monthly First Impression checklist for all Dream Center properties, events, outreaches, or fundraisers.Ensure that all signage, photos, and collateral are branded according to Dream Center Indianapolis guidelines.ADMINISTRATION
Weekly flash reports turned in on time.Monthly reports turned in on time.Adhere to the Dream Center Code of Conduct.Keep all Dream Center policies, practices, and procedures.NOTE : During the pilot, a certain level of flexibility is required. Time management and quick decision-making are needed to ensure the Dream Center mission is successful. Job descriptions may be changed, updated, or added to via email, in writing, or verbally. Expect other duties to be assigned to ensure that the Dream Center disrupts and reverses the cycle of poverty.
Salary
$55,000 - $65,000 per year
