Residential Supervisor

CHC is a non-profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat inspire support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of has been a critical part of Ohios efforts to treat and prevent substance use disorders since 1974.

We are currently looking for a full time Supervisor for our RAMAR program offering housing assistance to men who are on their journey to recovery.

Duties include :

• Coordinate RA schedule
• Supervision of staff residents and general RAMAR activities
• Monitor coordinate and provide case management including transportation for residents to and from scheduled appointments or activities and providing access to support systems and community resources
• Follow and ensure orderly adherence to house schedule
• Document shift activities and residents behavior in the residential log book
• Assist residents with problem resolution
• Assist in problem solving by helping patients to develop alternative solutions
• Ensure house rules and schedules are enforced by monitoring residents activities.

Minimum requirements : Must have High School Diploma; a Bachelors is preferred. Must have a current license from the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board as an LCDCII LCDCIII LICDC or CDCA or the Ohio Counselor Social Worker & Marriage and Family Therapist Board as a PC PCC LSW or LISW. Experience with drug and alcohol recovery process and clean driving record. Although the normal schedule will be Monday through Friday 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm as the supervisor must be available to cover all shifts and assist the RAs with questions and concerns that may arise at any time. Must meet CHCs requirement to not be restricted from exposure to medication by any governing body. Training in First Aid and CPR preferred.
