Virtucom is seeking Hardware Computer Repair Technicians to join our new team in Columbus, Georgia. This full-time, in-person opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about technology and eager to gain hands-on experience in IT hardware repair and support. As a Computer Repair Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and restoring the functionality of various devices—such as laptops and Chromebooks—ensuring quality service and customer satisfaction.
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM (Full time position)
Work Location : In-person at Virtucom’s Columbus Facility

- Diagnose and repair desktop and laptop computers, including hardware and software issues
- Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems, software, and drivers
- Inspect and identify cosmetic and functional defects; document and report findings
- Disassemble and reassemble devices using hand tools to replace or repair components (e.g., motherboards, bezels, keyboards)
- Clean and adjust mechanical parts to ensure equipment runs efficiently and reliably
- Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and ticket resolutions in ticketing systems
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
- Communicate with leadership regarding inventory levels and part requests
- Stay current with repair procedures, quality standards, and service-level agreements (SLAs)
