SUMMARY :
Information Assurance Specialist. Provide subject matter expertise in support of command-and-control systems involved in mobilization. Perform immediate on-site retail and unit-level support for Information Technology (IT) functions to mobilizing and demobilizing units, which includes workstations connected to the Fort Cavazos network infrastructure. Duty assignment will be confined primarily to the North Fort Cavazos Mobilization Facilities and the HMB headquarters.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

This position is not eligible for remote work, as the essential functions of the role require the employee to perform duties on-site.
Work performed indoors. No travel requirements. Will work hours work week with a possibility to work weekends and / or holidays if mission / operations require. This position supports the DOD on a federal installation and the candidate must be available to work at the assigned physical location during business hours.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provide customer support to all IT customers in person, by phone, or via email. Reimage computers. Create / track status of remedy work orders. Vet and create NIPR accounts. Provide support to PC / networking environment including installation, testing, repair, and troubleshooting for stand-alone PCs, PCs linked to networks, printers, and other computer peripherals. Support responsibilities include software installation, and configuring operating systems, and loading needed programs. Performs technical, operational, and training support to users of personal computers by telephone, on on-site. Performs hardware and software diagnostics, coordinates needed repairs, resolves computer system problems. SIPR Vault responsibilities include maintaining and operating a classified facility. Coordinates the issuing / clearing of IT equipment in buildings.
