Bankruptcy Paralegal

Prestigious New York Law Firm seeks to hire a Bankruptcy paralegal to join their team! The qualified candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience in a Mid-Size to Large firm.

Responsibilities:

• Bankruptcy Paralegal with creditor focused experience
  
  
• Understanding of local NJ and New York State rules, practice and procedures
  
  
• Review and monitor case docket
  
  
• Prepare and file proofs of claim, track claims, and claims reconciliation

Requirements:

• 3+ years of firm experience
  
  
• Chapter 11 bankruptcy experience as a paralegal
  
  
• Bachelors Degree

Preferred Skills:

• Paralegal Certificate
  
  
• Strong Analytical and Organizational skills

Compensation: $130,000 - $145,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
