Associate Attorney – Family Law

Fast growing firm seeks experienced family law attorney. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

This position is for an attorney that is licensed to practice law in the State of California. This position is for an attorney who has family law litigation experience or comparable civil litigation experience. The ideal candidate will possess at least TWO (2) YEARS of FAMILY LAW experience. The senior attorney will be expected to manage a caseload, oversee a team of other legal professionals, and litigate cases. "Family law experience" for this position means you have worked as a licensed family law attorney full time for at least two (2) years.

Job Duties :

• Prepare form and written pleadings
• Prepare correspondence to clients, experts, and opposing attorneys
• Meet with clients and experts
• Prepare child and / or spousal support calculation using Xspouse software
• Propound discovery and respond to discovery requests
• Legal research / analysis
• Prepare case memorandums
• Prepare testimony questions for hearings and depositions, as well as opening and closing arguments
• Accurately track time in case management software

Compensation : Depends upon experience
