Field Technician I

What we are looking for

As an (entry-level) Field Technician I at SCS Engineers you will gain basic knowledge of the terminology processes and equipment used in the operation maintenance and monitoring (OM&M) of various environmental control systems while gaining basic knowledge of health and safety requirements. Your tasks will be straightforward providing a solid foundation for your career growth. You will report to a senior-level supervisor such as a Project Superintendent or a Project Manager. We are looking for a Field Technician to service the Providence RI area.

• Learns and becomes proficient in understanding of and compliance with SCS policies and procedures with a primary focus on :

The SCS Injury and Illness Prevention Plan (IIPP) as it pertains to the SCS Health & Safety program.

Qualifications

Physical requirements include driving (pick-up truck) walking inspection of improved and unimproved property lifting and carrying equipment (up to 50 lbs. unassisted) hand excavation / digging (using shovels / picks) carrying and climbing ladders operating manlifts and working from man lifts operating electric tools (drills saws etc.) using hand tools (screw drivers wrenches hammers etc.) and providing services under varying weather conditions.

Pay Range

USD $22.00 - USD $24.00 / Hr.
