Machine Operator

Job Title: Machine OperatorJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to manage the operation of packaging machines for medical device products. The role involves assisting with the maintenance of machines and supporting the lead machine operator. Experience in a cleanroom or pharmaceutical setting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging machines efficiently to produce medical device products.
• Assist the main machine operator and provide necessary support.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with GMP standards.
• Maneuver 65 lbs reels as required.

Essential Skills

• Experience with machine operation in a cleanroom or pharmaceutical setting.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Computer skills for operating machinery and performing maintenance tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in operating and maintaining packaging machines in medical device or food manufacturing.
• Ability to effectively perform preventive maintenance and repairs.

Work Environment

Work in an air-conditioned manufacturing environment with a 4-day workweek from Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am to 6 pm, and occasional overtime on Fridays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pompano Beach, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
