Plus3 IT Systems is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cloud Engineer to join our technical operations team. As a Cloud Engineer on the team, you will primarily focus on designing, deploying, and optimizing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure. While the primary focus is cloud engineering, the role includes minor responsibilities related to traditional system administration, providing clear visibility into the end-to-end operational health of our services. This role requires at least three days a week onsite and is not eligible for fully remote.

What Youll Do :

• Cloud Infrastructure Management : Administer and maintain core cloud services
• Deployment and Automation : Assist in the deployment of cloud-native applications and infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation / ARM Templates.
• Monitoring and Maintenance : Configure and manage monitoring and logging tools to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring high availability and system health
• Security & Compliance : Support the implementation of basic security protocols, including vulnerability patching, endpoint protection, and adhering to compliance policies under senior guidance.
• Documentation : Create and maintain accurate technical documentation, including asset inventories, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides.
• System Administration : Perform routine system administration tasks for both Linux and Windows operating systems, including patching, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

Target Salary Range : $115,000 - $165,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individuals experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
