JOB TITLE : Mechanical Fabrication & Assembly Technician

LOCATION : Huntington Beach, CA

PAY RATE : $27 / hour

Summary :

Regular and predictable attendance is required

Support building activities for mechanical assemblies, heavy structure drill-out, bonding, fastener installation, component assembly, and wire harness installation

Build, modify, install, troubleshoot, and repair components and structural assemblies for production

Bridge hands-on mechanical work with execution of planned tasks through work orders, designs, computer models, processes, and procedures

Fabricate and assemble components using standard hand / power tools and precision instruments

Maintain accurate documentation of completed work, inspections, and non-conformances

Collaborate with engineers to suggest design changes and process improvements

Ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality standards, and configuration control

Requirements :

High school diploma or GED

Technical diploma, associate degree, or equivalent experience in aircraft maintenance, machine trades, or manufacturing technologies

Experience with composites, titanium, sheet metal, riveting, fastening, wiring, tubing, and basic machining

Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical data

Use of tooling such as torque wrenches, countersinks, drills, deburring tools, and calibrated equipment

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with engineers and teammates

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills :

A&P certification, specialty training, or equivalent experience
