Part-Time Administrative Analyst

The City of Laguna Beach is seeking a Part-Time Administrative Analyst to support the Transit Division within the Transit and Community Services Department. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient operations of the transit program by managing requests for proposals (RFPs), coordinating with vendors, preparing reports, and assisting with data analysis and agenda reports.

Qualifications :

Any combination of education and experience demonstrating the ability to effectively and successfully perform the duties of the position is considered qualifying. A typical combination is as follows :

Education : Graduation from a recognized college or university with major coursework in public administration, business administration, or a field related to the job duties in the department they will be assigned.

Experience : Two (2) years of experience in a responsible journey-level technical or administrative capacity, which include responsibility for compiling and analyzing data, preparing reports, and making recommendations related to business processes and functions. Desirable experience includes contract administration, budgeting, preparing requests for proposals (RFPs), grant management, and creative work such as designing flyers and social media posts.
