Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Team

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Team in Pawtucket, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a manufacturing and industrial location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will engage with employees and visitors, deliver exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly to support a secure environment. Pay Rate : $17.33 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Tue 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Wed 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Thur 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Fri 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Sat 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious behavior, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding incidents or concerns as needed.
  • Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas as directed by site policies.
  • Support emergency preparedness drills and participate in response activities as needed within the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
