Job Description & Requirements Specialty : OR - Operating Room Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 01 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Travel Operating Room RN Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shifts include 8-hour days from 6 : 45 AM to 3 : 15 PM or 10-hour days from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM, with call required every 6 days including weekends. Job Description The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for patient care in the operating room. As a member of the surgical team, the RN works closely with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, and other personnel to ensure quality patient care according to established standards and regulations. Responsibilities Ensure the availability of necessary supplies and equipment. Maintain timeliness of surgical cases. Communicate effectively with patients' families. Update and manage physician preference cards. Scrub and assist physicians during surgical procedures. Supervise personnel delivering patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 1 year of travel nursing experience required. 2 years of OR RN experience required. BLS certification required.
